Ironman Safe Co., with Tony Anderson, Assistant Professor of the University of Idaho, mnitored temperatures in an actual controlled house fire conducted by the Hayden Lake Fire Department.
An Ironman Safe was placed in a house. Temperatures were monitored at several locations throughout the house and in the safe. The results showed that during the 30 minute test, the temperature outside the safe reached 1,553 degrees F with a maximum average temperature inside the safe of 191 degrees F.
